Last Saturday (17th), we took dad to his "favourite" restaurant aka Madras Pavilion. We were meeting two of mom's college friends for lunch. This photo was taken as we were leaving home that morning.....

Anu aunty and Ravi uncle finally get to meet Elvis. They both are ultimate dog lovers, and had not gotten a chance to meet Elvis for the last six months or so. The moment has finally arrived. After dinner, we did however stop by an excellent Italian ice cream parlour recommended by Anu aunty and Ravi uncle!

Last Weekend (09/16-09/18)

Last Weekend was pretty hectic! On Friday, we had gone to Zoom (very nice Vietnamese/Thai restaurant) with Anu aunty and Ravi Uncle. Over the weekend, there were two major festivals going on in Dallas - the balloon festival and Oktoberfest. The balloon festival is held every year in Plano, and over that four or five day period, hundreds of balloons take off from the grounds.
Oktoberfest is held in Addison, and people who cannot make it to Munich, try to enjoy the spirit of Oktoberfest here! Some pictures posted for your viewing pleasure....

ALISHA'S BIRTHDAY PARTY (Sept 11th)

Alisha is our neighbour, and a very good friend of mine. Although she is a good bit older than me, she and I share a very close relationship....which is why I was invited to her birthday party on Sept 11th. She decided she wanted to have a sprinkler party, so we were advised to come with our swimsuits....check out the pics!
