Alisha and myself started a restaurant - VIHA LA CAFE. Here is the menu. There is a six week waiting period to get a table here!

As you can see, it's a very pretty place!

While dad and Uncle Bud were racing back to Dallas, we took the more scenic route. We stopped by the absolutely fabulous and serene Lake O' The Pines.

One..Two...Three => BLAST OFF!

The next day Uncle Bud and Dad are ready to take off after breakfast.

After dinner at a wonderful Italian restaurant, we were lucky enough to make it to the late night train ride (an actual train!).

An old-fashioned home. Many of them are now converted to bed and breakfast type establishments.

Jay Gould was a railroad baron, and this here is his personal railroad car. We were not allowed to go inside, as they want to preserve this national treasure.

Our trip to Jefferson, TX was awesome. We left Dallas on the 17th of June. Uncle Bud and Dad drove their motorbikes - we followed in our car. After spending the night there, we came back the following day. Here we are at the Deer Park....the park was closed on Saturday, but the watchdog seemed pretty friendly!
